DUTY OF DISCLOSURE

You have a duty to disclose to us, whether asked for or not, all information that might influence the decision to offer you insurance cover and if so, on what terms and/or premium ("material information"). This duty exists prior to the inception, renewal or variation of your policy. Failure to disclose all material information may result in your policy being avoided. This means your policy will be deemed never to have existed and any claims will not be payable.

If you have any doubt as to whether a fact is material then it should be disclosed.

PRIVACY ACT 1993

Personal information is collected to evaluate your insurance requirements including establishing what cover, if any, is to be offered and its terms and premium. All information collected will be held by Rothbury Covi Ltd PO Box 62608, Greenlane, Auckland 1546 ("Covi") and Lumley, a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited PO Box 2426 Auckland 1140 ("Lumley"). Individuals have the right under the Privacy act 1993 to request access to and correction of their personal information.

INSURER FINANCIAL STRENGTH RATING

Lumley is a business division of IAG New Zealand Limited which received a Standard & Poor's (Australia) Pty Ltd financial strength rating of AA-.

S&P: Standard & Poor’s Insurer Financial Strength ratings
Plus (+) or minus (-) signs following ratings from “AA” to “CCC” show relative standing within the major rating categories.

AAA = Extremely Strong BBB = Good CCC = Very weak SD Selective Default
AA = Very Strong BB = Marginal CC = Extremely Weak D Default
A = Strong B = Weak R = Regulatory Supervision NR Not Rated

NZ RESIDENTS REFUND POLICY

This policy may be cancelled by the insured at any time by notice to Covi. Covi will refund to the insured 80% of the amount of any unexpired premium already paid on a pro rata basis, subject to our retained premium

NON NZ RESIDENTS

For Non New Zealand Residents the minimum period of cover is 12 months and the premium is non refundable.

For vehicles under $350,000 an excess of $1,250 applies if you normally reside in a country that requires you to drive on the right hand side of the road. If you normally reside in a country that requires you to drive on the left hand side of the road then a $750 excess applies.

For vehicles $350,000 and over an additional $1,000 excess applies if you normally reside in a country that requires you to drive on the right hand side of the road. If you normally reside in a country that requires you to drive on the left hand side of the road then the standard excess will apply
